SK Telecom has been operating the 'AI Startup Accelerator' program since 2023 to support the discovery and growth of AI startups. This year, from April 8 to May 9, the 3rd round of recruitment was conducted, and 15 promising AI startups were selected at the end of June. Going forward, SKT will provide various benefits, including tailored programs for the selected startups for six months.
A total of 152 startups applied for this AI Startup Accelerator 3rd round, and after a competitive ratio of 10 to 1, 15 teams were selected. The selected companies are ▲Starseed ▲Code Crane ▲Teramime ▲Bati AI ▲Sosorix Korea ▲Video Monster ▲Broze ▲DVID Lab ▲Leolab ▲Mago ▲IVE ▲Hiritsoft ▲MP Wave ▲Offright ▲Flex.
Teramime, which developed the dual authentication solution 'LESA-pass', which combines facial recognition and lip movement, is a startup that won the CES 2025 Innovation Award and is gaining global attention as a next-generation authentication technology that provides both strong security and convenience. Sosorix Korea, which develops AIoT assistant services that recognize spaces and provide optimal environments, has received recognition for its technology by winning many awards at home and abroad, including the CES 2024 Innovation Award, and is providing smart home services through 'Sosorix Lens'.
Lee Dong-joo, the manager of the AI Startup Lab team in charge of the program, said, “Like last year, many excellent startups applied this year, making the selection process very challenging,” adding, “We will do our best to support and cooperate so that innovative AI startups can lead the AI ecosystem together with SKT.”
